Completion - Achievement Ceremony

An  Achievement - Completion Ceremony was held on Thursday evening, May 19, 2016 in the ACT auditorium to recognize 40 program completers (ACT graduates) for their accomplishments and to present them with their program completion certificates. In most cases, the completion certificates represented almost one thousand hours of skill training students had gained during their two-year programs. Students who maintained grade averages of 90 or above for the year, maintained acceptable attendance records and received no discipline referrals that resulted in a suspension from the ACT were named as Honor Graduates. Twenty-one honor graduates were presented with silver honor cords that could be worn during the ACT ceremony and at other events at their respective high schools. Additionally, 17 students received special awards for various accomplishments. These students are:
Excellence - Stacey Diamond, Mya Ham, Casey Jackson and Lucero Amaro
Outstanding Performance - Jamie Gerald
Most Dependable - I’mani Brantley and Troy Roberts
Most Improved - Ieshea Murray
Most Spirited - Alexis Robinson
The Extra Mile Award - Jacob DeBaker
National Health Science Exam - Talina Shelley
SP-2 and/or ASE Certifications - Ra’Quawn Barr, Branden Cook, Jacob Debaker, Chad Martin and Joshua Pee
Auto Technician of the Year - Dylan Brown
